When it comes to making your space at the campground comfortable for everyone, making sure your space is properly organized is the first step you should take. As a full-time RVer, I have my fair share of tricks for creating additional storage space to make the available storage more practical. Below are my best RV tips for staying organized at the campground.
Shoe Pocket Organizers are Great for Creating Vertical Storage
I highly recommend getting a hanging shoe organizer for your RV. These are perfect for creating vertical storage where you wouldn’t have it otherwise. You can use it on the back of your bedroom door for socks, underwear, shoes, and more. Additionally, keep one on the bathroom door to create space for cleaning supplies, toiletries, and more.
Have a Space for Toothbrushes
Whether you have a medicine cabinet or not, give your toothbrushes a designated space. You can get little mounts for the wall, which are perfect for keeping everyone’s toothbrushes in easy reach and off of the calendar where they can dry properly.
Create a Bedroom Caddy
Keep a bedside caddy stocked with the things you might need to make it easy to curl up with a good book and rest after a day at the campground. I like to keep mine stocked with a phone charger, kindle charger, Chapstick, Kleenex, and bookmarks, but you can customize it for whatever you need to keep on hand while relaxing in bed.
Find Places to Hide the Trashcans
Tucking your trash cans out of sight is an excellent way to cut down on clutter and make your space look tidier. We keep a trashcan in every room to help keep the space clean, and we take out the trash as soon as it’s full.
Install Under-Table Drawers
One way to add storage to your RV is by installing under-table drawers. Slim-line drawers for under your table can give you space for pens, notepads, batteries, and other essentials that might not have a home otherwise.
